Board Development
Chairman: Tony Boca, Miller Brother Staffing Solutions
The Board Development Committee is responsible for oversight of the Board of Directors and the governance of the Chamber, including, but not limited to, the structure, composition and conduct of the Board, assessment of the Board's performance and compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies. This committee meets on a quarterly basis and more as needed.
Finance
Chairman: James Slater, McGill, Power, Bell & Associates, LLP
The Treasurer shall be the Chair of the Finance Committee. The Committee shall be responsible for overseeing the financial affairs of the Chamber including, but not limited to, collection and disbursement of funds, management of assets, budgeting, investments, and fiscal policies. This group will meet on a quarterly basis and more as needed.
Government Affairs/Political Advocacy
Chairman: Open
The Government Affairs committee is charged with the facilitation of communication and education between the business community, local, state and federal government and further, to engage in regular communication with regional, state and national Chambers of Commerce regarding business policies and laws.
Ambassadors
Chairman: Tony Boca, Miller Brother Staffing Solutions
The Ambassador Committee’s key objective is the retention of Chamber members and the generation of revenues through the expansion of the Chamber’s membership and services supporting the members. This group meets monthly on the second Thursday of each month.
Executive
Chairman: David Gordon, ERA Richmond Real Estate Service
The Executive committee consist of the Board officers of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer along with the Chamber Executive Director and Finance Coordinator. This group discusses the Chamber finances, membership renewals, membership retention rates, monthly events and ensures Chamber standards are being met. This committee meets the Thursday prior to the Monthly Board meeting.
Golf
Chairman: Christa Lundy
The Golf Committee plans and coordinates the Annual Golf Outings. This committee collects donations for prizes, auction items, sponsorships and ensures the day is a well-attended, fun filled day for members. This committee meets monthly or more as needed.
Leadership Meadville
Chairman: Karen Staudt
This committee plans and organizes the Leadership Meadville Class orientation, monthly classes and graduation celebration.
