    Annual Awards Night

The Annual Awards Dinner is held each year, recognizing our Chamber members in leading area businesses. The Diamond Awards are handed out in honor of an Emerging Leader, Small Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, as well as Small Non-Profit and Large Non-Profit of the Year. During this annual celebration, the Lew Davies Award along with the Raymond P. Shafer Award will be given as well.

    Golf Outings

Golf is great anytime – spring, summer or fall in Western PA. Mark your calendar now and plan to join us for outdoor fun and networking with other Chamber members at our annual fall golf outing and a summer women’s outing and caddy auction.

    Member Services Auction

The Member Services Auction is designed to be a win-win-win event.  Businesses get to try new services at reduced prices while the donating companies get access to new customers.  We get donations from a wide range of local and regional media and promotional companies for various advertising opportunities ranging from billboard, newspaper, radio, websites, graphic design, business cards…anything you might use to promote your businesses. IN ADDITION, you will find packages from businesses that offer other services you need to run your business, as well as great offers for employee and/or client recognition (golf, anyone?).  Packages will be auctioned off with starting bids beginning at 10% of their value.

    Local Job and Internship Fair

A job fair for area college and technical school students.  In an effort to let area post secondary students know what job opportunities are in the Meadville-Western Crawford County area, we give our Chamber members the opportunity to showcase their businesses.  Along with full and part-time employment possibilities, this is also a chance for underclassmen to check out potential internships.

    Business After Hours

This casual networking event is a great way to cultivate new business relationships and strengthen existing ones.  Each month, a different Chamber member hosts the event as an opportunity to showcase their business and staff.  There is no charge for members and potential members to attend.  The host provides the location, food, beverages and at least one door prize.  The Chamber will promote the event via newsletter, radio and eblast.

    Round Table Discussion Groups

Professionals and business colleagues engaging in round table discussions on hot topics, specific events and ways to work together in order to enhance and promote each business involved.  These are informal meetings after business hours in a relaxed atmosphere at the Chamber office.  Groups include Women in Business and one for Human Resources.
