The Meadville-Western Crawford County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a monthly seminar series on aging. This month’s installment will be held Tuesday, April 25 at the Lew Davies Community Center on Park Avenue in Meadville, beginning at 6:30 pm. Seminars are free and open to the public.
This month’s topic will be “Understanding Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Stages of Memory Loss”. Some key points that will be covered include:
- What is the difference between Dementia and Alzheimer’s?
- I’m losing my keys and forgetting names. Could it be Alzheimer’s?
- I’ve been hearing a lot about brain health. What does that really mean?
- What does the Alzheimer’s Association REALLY do?
Jill Curtis, Education and Outreach Coordinator for the Greater PA Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, will be one of our guest speakers. Based out of Erie, Jill has over 17 years of experience in hospital and long-term care facilities. She is passionate about education and support for anyone and everyone affected by Alzheimer’s Disease.
Join us for an interactive discussion and learn the FACTS about YOUR brain.
