Guiding Children's Behavior Part 3 & 4 (K2 C2 21) PA Keys Approved Class

Description

A two-part program for child care professionals (participants do not have to attend Part 1 & Part 2 to attend these sessions). Part 3: Participants learn to better understand what's behind the "challenging" behavior some children exhibit. They will learn specific strategies to help manage inappropriate and disruptive behaviors (3 hours). Part 4: What happens when the program staff is not successful in changing a child's behavior? What steps should staff take to bring in the experts, refer a child to counseling, or expel a child from a program? (3 hours). This class provides 6 DPW hours. Participants can obtain Act 48 and/or CEUs for an additional fee of $30 each.
