The delightful music of the Pittsburgh Symphony Brass with a live performance of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will once again return to Titusville on December 3rd! For the past 6 years, Titusville Council on the Arts has been proud to host The Pittsburgh Symphony Brass for a holiday concert in Henne Auditorium, at the University of Pittsburgh, Titusville. The Pittsburgh Symphony Brass was organized by George Vosburgh in 1994 with an emphasis on featuring some of the world’s finest orchestral brass musicians playing in chamber ensemble. They bring a delightful performance of carols and traditional holiday music to the community. In 2014, Titusville Council on the Arts announced a new addition to the concert; a live performance of the beloved 1965 television family classic, “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” performed by the Titusville High School Drama Club. “This event is something that the community looks forward to every year,” says Ashley Eichhorn-Thompson, Executive Director of Titusville Council on the Arts. “We are thrilled that it has become a local tradition and that it appeals to families and people of all ages.” The Pittsburgh Symphony Brass and A Charlie Brown Christmas is presented by Titusville Council on the Arts, a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping the arts alive and growing in Titusville. Programming includes Concerts in the Park, Youth Theater & Theater Camp, Fine Art Exhibit & Chalk Walk, HOTAfest (Heart of the Arts Folk Festival) and more.
