I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended San Francisco State University. My major was International Relations and my intention was to become a Foreign Service Officer. After serving in the Peace Corps, I attended Indiana University graduate school, where I earned my Master's in Public Administration. I moved to Washington, DC and began a career with federal and local government agencies, primarily as an auditor. After 20 years, I left the government and am now self-employed as a personal property appraiser. I moved to Meadville in February 2022. I live with my wife and our 6 year old daughter. I have a 19 year old son who attends Northeastern University.
